People ask me every day what I hope to accomplish with Kinloch. The answer is to build our industry's first integrated client-centric brokerage designed for the middle market.
There may be thousands of brokers, but when it comes to middle market organizations with complex needs, there is a void. Large brokers have the expertise these clients want; and they certainly have the resources. The reality is, they are seldom allocated to their middle market customers. Local and regional brokers bend over backwards to serve middle market business, but they lack the bench strength and depth of resources required to get the job done.
Kinloch is filling this void. Our vision is giving middle market companies the "top priority" service they would expect from a local broker and resources they would expect from a major broker.
To accomplish this, we need to create a different kind of insurance brokerage environment — one that allows talented people to thrive. Some say there is a shortage of "brain power" in the industry. But from what I see, that is not true. The problem is, too often obstacles in the traditional brokerage environment thwart creativity and eventually wear down talented people. I know; I've been there. That's why we've taken off the handcuffs and created an environment where truly skilled people have the resources, support and latitude to do what they do best — cultivate relationships and deliver exceptional results.
To date, the response to Kinloch has been overwhelming. Clients and insurance professionals clearly feel the need for change and see merits in what we're working to accomplish.
